WOODEN SCULPTURES by SUSAN FARRICIELLI

Most of the wooden sculptures you see here are compositions made from old wooden patterns found at various industrial metal casting foundaries in Connecticut, including the Nutmeg Steel Foundry and Elm City Foundary. The colors and markings  remain original. These sculptures are a tribute to tne anonymous craftmen who made these wonderfully crafted patterns and the industrial age (circa 1850 - 1980) that once made America so powerful.
