METAL SCULPTURES by SUSAN FARRICIELLI
Metal is one of my earliest materials that I have tried to (and continue to) master. I used to say that I think in metal. Now I think in terms of what material is most suitable for the idea balanced by what materials I have on hand, what facilities are available and what kind of budget I have. I often utilize Computer Aided Design to implement these ideas, both in planning and in applications such as laser or water-jet cutting of the material.
